Search Again: config problems From: john Date: Wednesday, June 13, 2001 Time: 9:40:01 am yesterday I added my name server to my domain as another listed nameserver, it appears at the bottom of the list when I do a WHO IS. i tested the name server yesterday by using a machine on my network with the IP of DNS box on my network tin the TCP/ IP settings. everything appeared to be fine to be fine . Now the REGISTER.COM records have been updated and it looks like they are all cached out there...and now my DNS box seems to be breaking DNS? I need some help fast...anyone with some time and knowledge care to lend a hand? DNS is running on the machine that is running the server that I cannot connect to. Do I need to add the ip of this box to it's DNS entry in it's TCP/IP settings so that it knows what it is called?
