Search Again: Upgrade to 1.8 fails From: Serge Pluess Date: Friday, January 8, 1999 Time: 12:07:19 pm Hi there just tried to upgrade Optigold 1.7.6 to 1.8 and it fails on 3 different machines. First it complains on not finding checks.usr, which can be either cancelled or checks.fm can be used. But after acknowledging the fast upgrade way it loads accnts_.fm and then either hangs or crashes the system. On Windows 95 Filemaker Pro hangs and shows Not Responding in the task manager. On NT Filemaker Pro causes an Application Error. This is the first time the upgrade fails and I first expected the first machine to be screwed up, but all the machines I tried so far experience the same issue. We have upgraded Optigold many times before successfully. Thanks in advance for any suggestions. Serge
