Connecticut Sales Tax change

Shawn,

Connecticut sales taxes changed on July 1, 2001, eliminating sales tax
on Internet access and reducing sales tax on some other computer and
data processing services.

What's the best way of dealing with this?

I searched the list archives and came across a long discussion on Texan
tax rates, but I guess I could use a sales tax change FAQ.

Should I create a new sales tax code for the new rate, and do a bulk
billing cycle change to the new rate? Or should I just change the rate
in the old tax code?

I assume that OG doesn't pro-rate sales taxes, so customers with accounts
that don't renew on the first of the month will have to pay the
prevailing rate on the date of renewal.
(I imagine the accountant is going to tell us we have to charge tax at
the prevailing daily rate.)

Fortunately, we don't have any clients on three month billing that are
affected by the rate change.

P.S. We're still using OG 2.6, in case it makes any difference.
