Thank you Chris, you have really helped.
Just for more clarification on secondary MX records...
How do I "tell the secondary that it should forward mail for the appropriate
domains to the primary server"? (I am using Webstar) Would I just set up a
"mail host" for each domain and have it forward to itself? (seems a little
redundant or loop-causing).
Do I need to go through each domain on the secondary and have that domain
forward to the primary? Or can I just set up the primary mail domain
"mail.test.com" domain to forward all mail coming from all domains to the
primary?
If I set up a mail server to be a secondary mail server, what kind of relay
rules do I need. i.e. must I put an "allow" rule in for every domain using
it as a secondary, or just one rule allowing the primary mail domain
"mail.test.com"?
Thanks a million
Sean
