[Sorry for my previous non-reply -- errant ham-fisted fingers whacking the

For any records that have their own explicit TTLs, it's in the record's TTL
field in the zone window. For records that don't have an explicit TTL, the
default TTL for records in a given zone is the 'Minimum' value in the Domain
Information window (the domain info window represents the zone's SOA record).
Sounds like you've got a couple of days, so you might be able to do the full
TTL juggling act. If not, there may end up being a few resolvers that don't
pick up your new data as soon as it's available. Anyway, you should probably
change all of your TTLs to something short, like 300 seconds or so, at least
one 'old' TTL before your changeover (if you've never changed the 'Minimums'
from QDNS' default, that's probably 86400 seconds == 24 hours). If you've got
less than a TTL before your changeover, you should change the TTLs asap. Then
wait until your connection has changed to the new ISP and make the necessary
changes to your zones -- sounds like you'll mostly need to change the IP
addresses in relevant A records. At the same time, you can change the
TTLs/Minimums back to whatever they were before. If the IP address of your
QDNS machine is changing, as seems likely, you'll also want to notify your
secondary DNS provider(s) so that they can adjust their servers to get zone
transfers from the new address.
Good luck and godspeed!
