Re: Batch Processing Server ActionsFrom: Joseph Smith Date: Monday, July 2, 2001
Time: 6:54:39 pmIf I trigger the server actions for a group of say 2,000 customers, Optigold
will process the server actions in about 3-4 seconds per user because it is
re-triggering all of the server actions. It usually takes me about 2 hours
for that large of a group and it looks hung up, but if you look at the CPU
usage on the workstation, FileMaker is actually executing the commands, it
just doesn't show you a list saying: "Retriggering actions for so-and-so" it
is just doing it.

When the system "hung", are you sure it wasn't just triggering the actions
(if there are a ton it will take a bit of time). If you look on the server,
were any of the actions performed before it hung?
