Search Again: QDNS3.01 crashes under load From: andrew Date: Thursday, July 5, 2001 Time: 6:40:35 am QDNS 3.0.1 MacOS 8.6 G3/233 I have a W2KAdvServer that has its outgoing connections for SMTP set to 100 and it's primary DNS set to the QDNS server. If I send to a large mailing list (several thousand names) it seems to crash the QDNS server with too many queries after a short period time. If I reduce the connections to 32 it seems to run OK, at least it has up to now <fingers crossed>. Is this a function of OT not supporting enough connections and the stack is crashing? Or is it a QDNS problem? If anyone else has experienced this problem, how have they gotten around it? TIA, Andrew
