Yes, you'll need two WebSTAR virtual host entries, one for each domain, since
W*VH doesn't support wildcards. If you use Welcome for virtual hosts, you can
do it with a single entry using a wildcard.

If you want the subdomains to resolve to the same IP address as
virtual.domain., then yes, that would work.
