Upgrade woesFrom: Richard Brodsky Date: Friday, January 8, 1999
Time: 10:31:37 pmThe upgrade did not seem to go well. A couple of things:
1.The instructions on the webpage say open Optigold (I assume that means the
.USR new version) and enter' importold 'for the login. Well unfortunately,
it asks to define a password as well. This is kind of confusing (already
existing password? does it matter? Is this what it's supposed to do?)
2. I then got the error "check.fm not found" Well I tried hitting cancel,
but nothing seemed to happen.
3. Then I got an error saying "planner.fm not found. Again I tried hitting
cancel but nothing happened.
Eventually it went through the motions and my data appears to be OK, but I'm
kinda skeptical. What should I do?
I was upgrading from 1.7.4 I believe
