From a performance/load perspective, whistleblower is more efficient than PageSentry for that old of a machine, however, we have found WhistleBlower to be extremely inaccurate and completely over anxious when checking things. Also, if our little "crash/deafness" problem occurs with QDNS, WhistleBlower still thinks that QDNS is up. I just do not trust WhistleBlower enough to monitor DNS since it seems to ping the TCP portion of the UDP stream, and not the DNS side of things.
