And for about $10 (plus s&h) you can get a used greyscale Connectix
QuickCam on ebay (here is one
http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1253728354)
and use free software and an old otherwise pretty much useless LC or
Quadra to do this.
