Well, if you're using BIND, then you're not using QDNS. But to answer your
real question, QDNS is AppleScriptable, so yes, it's quite possible for a CGI
script to edit zone files through via a web interface (using AppleScript or
any other scripting language that can send Apple Events). In fact, I believe
that a product called OptiGold has a web front end for QDNS 2.x, and from
messages on this list in the last week or so, it seems they're updating it to
work with QDNS 3.5. I don't use OptiGold, so I can't give any details, but I'm
sure there are others on the list who do use it.
