Search Again: Non-Authoritative Answer ..please help From: John Readwin Date: Tuesday, August 7, 2001 Time: 8:26:00 am Excuse my ignorance, but since Quick DNS usually runs without a hiccup, :-) I do not have to do a lot of DNS admin but.... I had the server freeze today, and so I rebooted it, and then thought I would run DNS expert on my primary DNS server. I got back the following, saying it did not get an authoritative answer, I'm sure I had all this setup just perfectly months ago, what could have changed? What should I be looking for ?? marge.netextras.com is my primary server, and lisa.netextras.com my secondary. Any help/insight is appreciated I am running v 221 on Mac OS 9 Query: marge.netextras.com. Query type: Any record Recursive query: Yes Authoritative answer: No Query time: 309 ms.
