Search Again: QDNS and Fail Over Support Question From: Dan Tappin Date: Sunday, August 19, 2001 Time: 12:06:40 pm I have searched the lists but I can't find a simple explanation of my question. I would like to have a secondary server that displays a simple 'Routine Maintenance' page when my primary server goes down for whatever reason. I have seen the 99%/1% load balance solution but that is a pain given that that 1% still goes to the secondary. I just want the secondary to receive requests ONLY in the event that the primary is down. Can this be done with QDNS 3.5 and if so how? Thanks, Dan
