Search Again: 2nd tax for only certain customers From: Rob Smarzik - RJSOnline Date: Sunday, September 2, 2001 Time: 5:27:13 pm We have been trying to find a way to setup a 2nd tax for only our DSL and Point to Point (T1s) customers. Some of you might be aware of the new FCC Universal Fund Service charges. We are being charged 6.89% by our telco for our DSL and Point to Point lines. We are wanting to pass these charges on to our customers. The problem is we have a first sales tax being charged to some customers. When we setup the 2nd tax how do we specify that these customers (DSL and T1 accounts) are not taxed the first tax but only the 2nd one? When we set the taxable in the customers account item record it wants to charge both the first and 2nd tax. Not only that but all of our existing customers that are charged the first tax are now being charged the 2nd tax as well. Thank you for your help in advance. Rob Smarzik RJSOnline, LLC
