Mac OS-X Multihoming & QuickDNS Pro 3.5

I have just installed QuickDNS Pro 3.5 on OS-X, and I have two related
questions:

1. Is there any method of moving zones from QuickDNS Pro under OS-8/9 to
OS-X, that is easier than exporting each zone and reimporting it using
Manager? Can I just place the old OS-8/9 zone files somewhere on OS-X?
It would appear not, as the zone file names cannot be found by Sherlock
when I do import them.

2. I am having difficulty implementing multihoming on the built-in
Ethernet of the G3. I want to have QuickDNS Pro Server on its own IP
address, the IP address of the authoritative name server.

I have set up 5 IP address connections using Network System Preferences
of OS.10.0.4 (Build 4Q12). I configured the first one using the Built In
Ethernet port, then duplicated it under the Advanced option, changing the
4th octet of the IP address each time. Only the first address pings,
regardless of what order I drag the configurations into. I have disabled
the modem port which is not is use. Any ideas? IP Secondary addressing on
OS-8/9 worked fine on the same box.

I opened case number 9524863 with Apple Care, but they said the Advanced
Features of the Network Systems Preference are not supported by Apple.
