Search Again: Speed of Invoice Generation From: Shawn Hogan Date: Thursday, September 6, 2001 Time: 12:48:19 pm Just as a FYI for everyone, I added a "fast mode" option for generating invoices. It's basically increases the speed of invoice generation at the expense of the "fluff". It makes the invoice, adds billing cycle items and adds sales tax (if necessary). It does not do anything else (send invoice, add usage charges, etc.) But because it doesn't have to think about the extra stuff, it's exponentially faster. I did some benchmarking, and generated 20,000+ invoices in their entirety in 25 minutes. So 1,000 invoices for example would be slightly more than 1 minute. - Shawn ------------------------------- Shawn D.
