Re: some problems with qdns 3.5 (crashes, load balancing)

There's a memory leak in QuickDNS Remote 3.5. It's been fixed in
QuickDNS 3.5.1 (along with several other bugfixes).

If a query is able to crash the primary server, and if that query is
then sent to your secondary server (e.g. because the workstation that
sent it has both listed in its TCP/IP settings), the secondary is
likely to crash as well.

Try upgrading to 3.5.1, and let us know if you continue to have these problems.

Regarding the load balancing question, how are you testing? Are you
using the load balance testing utility? It is the most accurate way
to test a load balance setup, since it avoids the problem of cached
answers.
