Sorry to jump in here like this, but I too am having the same problem. I am
able to connnect to both of our nameservers by IP, but when trying to log in
by name, QDNS Manager comes back immediately with "Unable to Locate the Host
ns1.whatever.com". This seems to come and go. It worked yesterday, now it
absolutely won't work today. I've checked the zone records for the name
servers, they appear to be ok. I can also do a DNS query with DNS Expert
and the name servers seem to resolve ok with it, and point to the right
IP's.

It's almost as if the QDNS manager is not resolving.

My details: G3 450Mhz B&W - 384Meg RAM - 15G HD - QDNS 3.5.1
