the most common reason for failed slave zone transfers:
If the zone master is not answering authoritatively for the zone when=20
answering to the slave with the SOA record, the slaves will not request=20
zone transfer. They can=B4t trust the zone data of zone master who won=B4=
t=20
answer with authoritative answers. The most common reason for absence o=
f=20
authority is an syntax error in the zone file that "breaks" the zone.
I=B4m afraid I come to this list from the BIND area, so I don=B4t know if=
QDNS=20
error and query logging shows these kinds of problems, but that=B4s where=
I=20
would start.
