did you restart the "Remote" app?

I am using QuickDNS Pro 3.5 under Mac OS 8.6. The hard drive of my
server filled up with log file, so I deleted the log file, and restarted
the server. The server launches fine, and shows activity. When I
attempt to log in to the server with QuickDNS Manager (either by domain
name or by IP address), it comes responds immediately with "Unable to
connect to the server". I even tried deleting the Preferences files to
no avail. Any notions?
