DNS labels are case-insensitive, just like email addresses.

you're talking MTA header rewriting? do whatever you want, has nothing to
do with DNS.
Caesar.AugustusII.com, MenAndMice.com, you can "pretty print" them any way
you want. DNS doesn't care.
