Need some reverse helpFrom: Gary Richter Date: Wednesday, October 10, 2001
Time: 10:24:50 amI took my self off the digest and onto individual messages. So just
reply to the list. Thanks for those that made suggestions about an
alternative to netsol. FYI netsol tech support answered just one of
my requests (the last one which is odd) 16 days after I sent it in.
However a message to investor relations, got me instant phone
support. What a way to run run a business.
Just need to understand the reverse zone name I should put in QDNS
pro for the following
>DiG 8.3 <<>> +norec @dca-ans-01.inet.qwest.net 127.169.145.63.in-addr.arpa soa

And then what the left side should look like ie:
(here I should put?).169.145.63.in-addr.arpa. NS ns1.xyzhosting.net.
(here I should put?).169.145.63.in-addr.arpa. NS ns2.xyzhosting.net.
(here I should put?).169.145.63.in-addr.arpa. PTR mail.xyzhosting.net.
mail.xyzhosting.net is at 122.
Thanks a ton
DNS Expert is telling me Lame Delegation. So I assume what I have
currently in the reverse is wrong
