From: Joseph D''Andrea Date: Saturday, November 3, 2001 Time: 6:16:53 am Sanity check please... what am I missing? machine-P MacOS 8.6 QuickDNS Server 3.0.1 QuickDNS Remote machine-M MacOS 9.1 QuickDNS Load Balancer WebSTAR 4.4 machine-W MacOS 9.0.4 QuickDNS Server 3.0.1 QuickDNS Remote QuickDNS Load Balancer WebSTAR 4.2 machine-PB (the admin machine) QuickDNS Manager 3.5.1 (carbon) None of the Web* servers have the "load balance" plug in installed. both "P" and "W" have load balance records for a domain that can be served from wither "M" or "W".I have tried various percentages of "50/50" , "1/1" , "99/1" and "1/99". Seems that no matter what I do, when using LBtester, the only IP address that is returned is for "W" What's missing that's not obvious to me?
