Definitely has to be a bug on the QDNS end... We have a sparc running
NetBSD and BIND and it is setup to log everything into the main system
logs. So we searched for anything with SOA in it by using these commands:

cd /var/log
grep -i SOA messages
gunzip -c messages*gz|grep -i SOA

The log file gets compressed every so often, thats why I did that second
search by gunzipping the compressed old log files to STDOUT, and then
doing another grep. Anyway, I didn't find anything by grepping or by
checking manually.

What does this mean? Well it means that a secondary server of ours that
is "NOT" running QDNS and is polling a BIND Primary (with QDNS on Linux)
and is "NOT" getting these Failed to lookup SOA errors... Only a
secondary MacOS based QDNS secondary seems to have this problem.
