Search Again: Problem with Server getting a name From: US Billing_John Date: Tuesday, November 13, 2001 Time: 6:03:12 am I have posted this question to the QDNS and EIMS list because of the potential overlap. Yesterday I noticed that when EIMS v3.03 starts it does not return a valid host name. I am running QDNS Pro for my primary, and DNSExpert reports no problems. I changed to one of my unused IPs and restarted EIMS, and the server reported the correct name. I have a /26 network so the provider is doing reverse DNS for me, and I do primary with QDNS pro. what is strange is that using a query tool the IP address (216.141.141.253) does report the name of the server "mail.cybernetvillage.com".
