Search Again: Pointing to a non-hosted domain name. From: Suzanne Swift Date: Sunday, November 18, 2001 Time: 5:39:29 pm I'm hosting a domain name for a company that is hosting it's site - along with other domain names - elsewhere. I've tried to point the domain name I'm hosting at their new domain name/site by doing in the following: www.domainname.com CNAME www.newdomainname.com but it doesn't work. What am I missing? Is it that their site host needs to configure their Web server with the domain name I'm hosting? Thanks for your help! Suzanne
