Mass Slave CreationFrom: Mia''s Virtual Post Office Date: Thursday, January 3, 2002
Time: 11:48:39 amHow can I easily, and quickly find all zones on my primary that have a
record for my secondary and the take all those zones/domains and create
them on my secondary?
Here is why... There are numerous problems with QDNS and how it handles 5
years of mucking around, upgrading, downgrading, upgrading,
creating/deleting/renaming/moving zones around... Needless to say, given
the right set of circumstances QDNS gets corrupt, at least the secondary
data file does.
Anyway, the only way I think I can correct this problem (which I will go
in great detail about in the future) is to completely remove anything
that says QDNS from my secondary, do a clean install of the most recent
version, and then create/recreated every single slave zone manually.
So is there a way to do this without manually creating the slaves?
