Are you sure about that, Chris? I've got a /usr/sbin/named in my OSX 10.1.2
stock install, no QDNS installed. '/usr/sbin/named -v' yields:

% /usr/sbin/named -v
named 8.2.3-REL Sun Sep 2 19:46:11 PDT 2001
root@diopter:/private/var/tmp/bind/bind-6.obj~71/bin/named

Looks suspiciously like BIND 8.2.3 to me (although I haven't actually tried to
run it except to get the version number).
