While it's a good idea (Optigold internally even supports just using
test-mode transactions), but support for it was taken away when a couple
ISPs "accidentally" turned on the test mode for the credit card processor...
So all sorts of payments were being authorized by Optigold and the processor
was giving approvals on them so Optigold thought they were approvals and
posted the payments. Then of course the customer has payments on file when
they never actually ran any against the real credit card and therefore never
got the funds...
