I understand that, but you can still do it with vhosts. Simply create
the 5 domains and enter A records for the IP of the server that it is
going to point to, then have the admin of the "other" server ad vhost
entries for those domains.

I see your point though.. I suppose if you do not want any intervention
from the other admin then a redirect could be used.. You could always use
the "Make Redirect w/Server" apple script to create the redirects, and
then just create A records for all 5 domains pointing to one of your own
servers and have a vhost entry for each pointing to the same directory
where you have one "index.html" of the redirect file. Personally I would
still just set up the Zones to point to the "other" server and have that
admin add the Vhost entries on their server.
