{cracking up} Well, it will only mess it up (and *usually* can be fixed
if it does) if the database is being written to at the time it was being
backed up.
The *ideal* backup solution is FileMaker Pro Server...
It runs as a service of NT, allows up to 100 clients, is 3-6 times
faster, automated backups without booting clients, etc. And if you have
a competitive upgrade (like SQL server or something), it runs like $250
or something. It's DEFAINTELY the way to go if you can.
If not, you really need to log all clients out, close down Optigold ISP
and then backup the data (.USR) files.
