Re: Change the Master server ipFrom: Web Comunicaciones Date: Monday, February 4, 2002
Time: 9:04:33 pmI create the slave server with no problem, but i can not connect to
the slave server using the host name form a remote machine, but i can
on the same machine where the secondary server is.
In fact, when i lookup the secondary server i get an ip which is not
defined on that zone.
Server: dns2.mexhost.com
Address: 200.23.232.59
dns2.mexhost.com.mx internet address =3D 200.23.232.59
mexhost.com.mx nameserver =3D dns1.mexhost.com
mexhost.com.mx nameserver =3D dns2.mexhost.com
dns1.mexhost.com internet address =3D 200.56.255.2
dns2.mexhost.com internet address =3D 200.56.255.1
the 200.56.255.1 is an ip without dns. The correct ip for dns2 is 200.23.232
=2E59
maybe a problem with the cache or something?
Thanks for your help
