Search Again: QDNS Pro 3.0 and MacOS 9.1 From: Steve Linford Date: Tuesday, February 5, 2002 Time: 8:00:05 am (QDNS Pro 3.0, MacOS 9.1, PPC8500) I've been having problems with QDNS quitting 4 or 5 times a day ever since upgrading to MacOS 9.1, but I thought it was down to a system or disk fault. So I installed a brand new hard disk and installed a fresh MacOS 9.1 on it. I booted the machine up and 5 minutes later QDNS Pro Remote quit with an error Type 2, bringing down the machine. I rebooted, 15 minutes later QDNS Server quit. The only 2 applications on the machine are SIMS 1.8b8 and QDNS Pro 3.0. I know that SIMS is very stable (we have another PPC running just MacOS 9.1 and SIMS 1.8b8 and that's been up solid for almost a year (only ever gets restarted when there's a power failure) Is there any known issue with QDNS Pro 3.0 and MacOS 9.1? -- Steve Linford Ultradesign Xtreme Network http://www.uxn.com
