records. They all disagree, and none of them are even
recommendations, let alone standards.
Some mail server admins configure their mail servers to reject mail
if the sending domain doesn't have an A record. Seems odd to me to
require that, but there it is.
Is there any reason you would not want such a record? I mean, it's
often useful for websites to be accessible with or without the "www.".
