It's certainly possible, but if they're blocking port 80, then why aren't they
also blocking other ports? Port 25 (SMTP) would be a prime candidate for
blocking if they're trying to keep naughty servers off of their network. I can
telnet to port 25 on your server (and 110, and your name server answers
queries), so it's not being block. It might be worth a phone call to Verizon
to find out.
