Do make sure that you are not blocking access yourself as well... Check
your router logs on your linksys to see if there are any incoming
requests on port 80. If there are none, then they are blocking it, if
there are, then you need to do some reconfiguring on the linksys..

BTW, what port did you put your web server on when you tested?

If they are truly blocking it, look at your TOS. Are you allowed to run
web servers? Is this a res or bus line? Ultimately I am quite impressed
that Verizon could actually figure out how to do this. Can't get Cell
phones to work half the time, so this really surprises me.

If your TOS allows you to have web servers then request that the block be
lifted. If they cannot do that within 1 hour, cancel the service and get
something else, or kindly ask them for the password to the router that
has the access lists in question and remove it yourself. Not trying to
be funny here, just speaking from experience. What I mean is you will
probably have better luck gaining access to their routers than getting
someone to act on this request quickly.. Now if you are not allowed to
run a web server, then you may be SOL, though there are ways around this
(sometimes) as well...

Check that TOS.
