Well, my chances were about as good as I feared ... none. But after
three phone calls (sheesh -- they can't even transfer me to someone
with answers, I had to keep calling back on the same number), they
finally confirmed that due to "security reasons" port 80 is blocked
across their entire system. If I could afford a T-1 line, that would
be one work-around .... yeah, right. My server is a very low
bandwidth operation for a couple of charities and non-profit
organizations, and, sorry to say, a T-1 isn't in the budget this
year. Thank you, Verizon, so glad you have the best interests of your
customers at heart.

Anyone interested in buying a slightly used QuickDNS license?

Bob
