Re: Negative caching in 3.5.1From: Men & Mice Support Date: Tuesday, February 19, 2002
Time: 9:46:55 pmThe negative caching value given out by the Mac OS 9 version of
QuickDNS Server is what's labeled as "Minimum". This has two
functions:
- Negative caching TTL (the TTL used in a cacheable negative response)
- Default TTL for records in the zone
With BIND and its derivatives, including QuickDNS Server for Mac OS
X, these two values can be specified separately.
