I can telnet into that port... of that machine/server.. so it tells me its
open and connects.. so that does mean the server is good..

However, when I used the filemaker pro 5.0, doesn't 'see' that host that is
offering any type of files at all. Could it be some type of setting on teh
file maker pro 5.0 that i'm using to connect ?

I checked out all settings, nothing that seems unusual or anything of that
nature.. no firewalls or anything .. so thats in the clear line as well..

I'm think of other things.. anything else you can suggest ?

THanks for clearing htat up. Trying to trouble shoot it.. so something like
that does help.
