Hi, there

I=92m trying to set up a new style server event to trigger whenever an
email password is changed. I have managed to do the same thing whenever
a new email is added & it triggers without any problems. I=92ve read the
archives & found several messages relating to this problem, but they
haven=92t helped me.

This is what I=92ve done so far:

Create the new style event, name it & select the protocol I want it to
use. After setting it up, I go into customer details & then services.
After selecting the email from the list of available emails for that
account, I change the password for that email address. I have tried both
the =93Change Pass=94 and the =93Assign=94 buttons, but the results are
the
same. After changing the password, I go to main menu & look in =93Server
Actions Emails=94, but the event is not in the queue.

I have checked that the event is enabled and have also set the account
class on the server event form ( I have tried a specific class and
=93ALL=94). No matter what I try, the event refuses to fire. I tried
entering a name in the button label that would trigger the event (I
tried both Change Pass & Assign) & that didn=92t work either.

As I=92m new to Optigold, perhaps I=92m looking in the wrong places.
I=92d
appreciate it if someone could point me in the right direction.

Note: When I entered a phony IP Address on the Server Event Setup form
in the Host field, the hour glass remained on the screen for nearly ten
seconds, as if it was waiting for a response from the server. That
indicates that the event is doing something, but it doesn=92t produce
any
results that I can work with. I don=92t know whether it=92s doing
anything
or not

Help!!

Sean
