Search Again: (OT) dig in the terminal From: Paul Willis Date: Tuesday, April 23, 2002 Time: 6:40:10 am Hi all Until Men & Mice get round to DNS Expert on OS X (if ever) can anyone give me some basic commands to use the terminal to check DNS entries? (I no longer have OS 9 on my PowerBook) I know... [localhost:~] paul% dig netro42.com ...will give me the results for the domain 'netro42.com' using my default DNS server but I would like the ability to query different DNS servers to see what they say - just as you can in DNS Expert.
