Internet service itself may be a utility, and if that's the only product
offered, then the provider may be a utility. If other services are added
though, then there would be more to the utility/isp/whatever than that one
service, hence it would not be classified as such. Anyways, whatever....<G>

Okay, here's something then...the only reason I'm bitching so much about
this issue is having to set up 3-5 separate customers for the 'same'
customer just using different services. What about adding a way to link
additional accounts to a main one separate from the master/slave option you
have.
For example, the way I've got it set up now is that I'll have a primary
account with all the info. Then I'll create another account, classified as
secondary in the account types. This way I know it is part of the 'master'
account. Now, if there is only a way to link all the usage, billing
address, etc. info to be 'forwarded' to the main account, and the only
thing that stays separate is the billing cycle items (so they can have
multiple billing cycles). Is there any way you can think of to do this?
It's just like creating another master/slave relationship without such
close ties...a bit looser of a relationship if you will.
Another question I've got has to do with setting up preferences on a per
customer type basis. I'm sure it would be much work, but it would also be
very helpful. Because we've got our customer types classified by a
combination of their payment type/credit risk/business/residential, etc.
(that's why I have sooo many account types) each one has different invoice
dates, bill dates, etc. It would be very helpful to also be able to assign
other global parameters such as invoice type to these. Maybe?
