Master Servers

For any particular zone, can there be more than one master server
with QDNS Pro?

The reason I ask is that, having exported zones from one server (NS1)
and imported them into another NS0), the new server into which I
imported the zones (NS0) shows the list of zones non-italicized, just
as the master server for those zones does. Each zone still lists NS1
as the master in the zone data but indications are that NS0 is not a
slave (secondary) for those zones but is a primary (master) server.

QDNS Manager connects to multiple servers at once. If I make zone
changes, how does each get updated if I'm connected to:
one master and one slave
two masters (possible?)
two masters and one slave (possible?)

I've been operating with NS1 as a master for all my own zones while
my NS2 was a secondary for those zones. Was this necessary or could I
have been operating both as masters for my zones? When I connected
via Manager and made changes, did the changes take place on the slave
as well as on the master, due to Manager or did the slave update only
on its regular refresh cycle.

Could I have been operating all along with two masters for my zones
and no slaves?
