Search Again: list server failing. From: m i l e s Date: Friday, May 3, 2002 Time: 10:24:27 pm Hi, I recently moved my servers to a new series of IP's. Web/FTP/Mail all seem to be working fine. However, list services are failing. I made the necessary changes to my DNS to point at the correct machine for all list server issues, however the list server can not seem to make any kind of outside connection. Im looking at error logs with essentially the following repeated cmds: 05/01 02:24:44 [121] - smtp send: looking up domain: comm.umass.edu 05/01 02:24:44 [121] - smtp send: opening connection: ponzi.oit.umass.edu. 05/01 02:25:45 [121] - smtp send: ERROR!! the connection timed out (-32000) 05/01 02:25:45 [121] - smtp send: opening connection: supai.oit.umass.edu. 05/01 02:26:45 [121] - smtp send: ERROR!! the connection timed out (-32000) 05/01 03:05:31 [121] - smtp send: looking up domain: rcn.com 05/01 03:05:31 [121] - smtp send: opening connection: mx.mail.rcn.net. 05/01 03:06:31 [121] - smtp send: ERROR!! the connection timed out (-32000) Pages and Pages of the stuff! This is a LetterRip Pro 3.05 server. It worked fine up until the IP swap. Now it can't seem to send a single msg. It recieves msgs just fine...sending is another story altogether! -- M i l e s.
