Well, I think I have removed almost any other possible reason.
- No other third party system extension or control panel is installed.
- The system was clean installed just a few days ago
- The hard drive was re-initialized a few days ago
- There is more then enough RAM available
(10Mb allocated to QDNS which hosts about 80 domains, 8 Mb to LetterRip,
app. 25 Mb are required by the system, more then 100Mb are free
- any system component which isn't necessary for running a server
is deactivated
- after removing NetBarrier yesterday at 13:00 CET the problem did not
occure again (until now).

Of course. I sent them a similar support request yesterday afternoon.
Unfortunately I did not receive an answer until now.
