Search Again: list all zones From: Dave Reddy Date: Monday, May 13, 2002 Time: 3:07:37 am hello all, We are about to spec out a web based system which will report on all zones hosted on our DNS for MX values, expiry dates, A records and so on. To do this, however, we need a complete listing of domains hosted by the servers. Ideally this is something we query the name server for as apposed to manually creating the list. Is there an obvious way of getting a list of all zones hosted by QDNS/Bind. Environment is QDNS Manager on Win2k with Bind running on RedHat 7.2. Worst case scenario is pulling a directory listing from the master zones directory and processing it. many thanks, dave.
