Search Again: Sanity check on SOA values From: David M. Dantowitz Date: Thursday, May 23, 2002 Time: 10:43:25 am Watching a domain run by an IT department with the following SOA values: refresh 3 hours retry 1 hour expire 1 hour minimum 1 day Now, to me it seems that the secondary will keep it's data for 1 hour, then it expires and it won't retry to load the domain for another 2 hours. Is this the proper interpretation of the numbers above? Thanks, David
