Ok, but how will this effect the script (still with a command line) when
doing the operation from the web-interface? Will it then be run from the
server???

You would want to do it through telnet, SSH, RSH, etc. something that
allows
you to trigger a command on a remote machine...

A direct command line is always run from the machine triggering it.
