that's better than nothing. It's the absence of a PTR record for the ip
from which you send mail that will hurt most. But even that absence is
not too painful because so many MTA's do not have reverse set up that a
hard PTR test will have too many false positives. However, AOL eg will
give some weight to your absent PTR and combine it with other factors to
reject your mail.
